Washing in hard water can leave mineral deposits behind on your clothes that can build up and also cause your whites to look dingy. So generally the harder the water is, the more laundry liquid is needed to work effectively. ​No, we don't use enzymes. All our laundry detergents are non-bio formulas. Enzymes are a common cause of skin allergies and are often synthetic. They are not required for most washes - so we don't include them in our formulas.
