How to make your laundry scent last longer
We all want a long lasting laundry scent, but it alludes many of us. But with a few simple tips, you can help any laundry scent stick to fabric and last for weeks and weeks.
Here are our top laundry scent prolonging tips.
1. Choose the right laundry detergent.
2. Add a little fabric conditioner.
3. Take your laundry out of the wash quickly.
4. Avoid the tumble dryer.
5. Only store laundry when it's completely dry.
6. Store in a cool, dark place.
1. Choose the right laundry detergent.
Not all laundry scents were born equal. they may smell great out of the bottle, but do they last long enough? Wilton Laundry liquid scents have been designed to last. Our scents are formulated with lots of base and mid notes - these molecules are literally heavier and that gives them better sticking power.
2. Add a little fabric conditioner.
Fabric conditioner helps soften your fabric but it also helps boost the scent. The main reason is that your washing machine adds it before the final rinse - so less is washed away.
3. Take your laundry out of the wash quickly.
Wet laundry sitting in the washing machine is a breeding ground for bacteria. Before long your clothes with start to smell funky, even when they've dried. So take your laundry out as soon as you can.
4. Avoid the tumble dryer.
Not only is tumble drying very energy inefficient, it also burns off a lot of your laundries scent. We use lots of essential oils in our laundry care range, and essential oils are a little delicate. The heat from the drying process will make them evaporate before you've had a chance to slip onto those lovely smelling sheets. Dry your laundry outdoors or on a clothes horse next to a moderate heat source like a radiator.
5. Only store laundry when it's completely dry.
If your laundry is moist when you store it away, bacteria will grow on the fabric and it will become musty. And no one likes musty laundry.
6. Store in a cool, dark place.
Fold your laundry and store it somewhere cool and dark. Be careful of some wooden drawers, the smell of the wood could transfer into the dry laundry.
Perhaps you could develop a spritz for bedding that goes with your existing fragrances then we can use that in winter if the need arises to use the dryer!

Why my fabric conditioner doesn’t smell on my Bosch washing machine
Faezramjean70@gmail.com on
I have received my order today. I am disappointed as I ordered four bottles of jasmine washing liquid and four bottles of jasmine conditioner but was sent refill boxes. I had planned to gift these bottles to family members which i can’t do as they are not in individual bottles.
