How to make your fragrance last longer

How to make your fragrance last longer

Everyone wants to smell good throughout the day. We invest in our perfumes, but often forget about an important layer that holds onto our fragrances, our fabrics.

By pairing your perfume or cologne with your fabric care fragrance, you can create a signature scent that lasts and lasts. From morning till night, starting from the moment you slip into your freshly laundered clothes.

But first, what is fragrance layering?

Perfume layering, or fragrance layering, is all about mixing and matching scents to create your own personalised scent that lasts through the day. You can blend complimentary perfumes or even mix in other scented products. Laundry fragrance is an amazing way to add a long-lasting layer of scent to your signature mix.

Why layer your perfume and fabric care?

It’s tempting to spritz yourself quickly when running out the door, but the best way to apply perfume so it lasts is to moisturised bare skin. Infusing your fabrics with fragrance that compliments your perfume is a game changer in making sure you smell amazing all day.

How to layer your fragrances?

  1. Start with the common notes

To begin your fragrance layering journey, look at the notes of your perfume, and laundry fragrance next to each other. Look for similarities, if there aren't any they’ll likely not be the best match. For example, do they both contain woody or floral notes?

2. Always consider the base notes

The base notes are the longest-lasting notes in any fragrance. You’ll want the bases of your fragrance and fabric care to complement each other, as this blend will linger.

3. Keep it personal

The most important thing when mixing fragrances is that scent is a personal preference. If you love it, that’s the most important thing!
